We return to the serene Brevard Music Center in the heart of western North Carolina just in time to be shaken up by the explosive sounds of 19th and 20th century Russia! JoAnn Falletta leads the BMC Orchestra again in this all Russian program featuring saxophone soloist Joseph Lulloff in Glazunov's Concerto for Saxophone and Orchestra, as well as the suite from Shostakovich's film score for the 1955 soviet film, The Gadfly, and Tchaikovsky's immortal fourth symphony.
